Alton, New Hampshire Paul Richard Newlin 1939 — 2024 Long-time resident of Alton, Paul Richard Newlin, passed away on Monday, June 17th, 2024 at the age of 84 following a brief battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Paul was born on December 19th, 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona to Dennis and Opal (Helton) Newlin. A graduate of Phoenix Union High School, he served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1961. Following his service, he worked in the restaurant service industry. Moving to New Hampshire in 1973, he began working in the commercial refrigeration industry and soon after started his own business in the same field. Paula was born in Lancaster, NH, November 6, 1951 to Paul and Marie (Hannaford) Kenison and grew up in Ogunquit, Maine. She graduated from Wells High School in 1970 and from the Central Maine General (CMG) Hospital School of Nursing in 1972. Paula worked primarily in geriatrics and served as the director of nurses at several elderly boarding and retirement homes in Virginia and Maine.
